Frequently Asked Questions

Who do you work with?

I have 7 years of experience and my clients have come from all different walks of life. No matter who you are or what you do professionally, I help you with pain and stress relief. My intention is to provide you with lasting relief and freedom from pain, restoring balance and peace to your life.

What type of massage do you do?

I work intuitively, combining multiple modalities to create my own style and create a unique experience for you. I have experience with Swedish Massage, Thai Massage, Foot Reflexology, Cupping, Intuitive Energy Healing and more.

But do you do deep tissue?

No, I am not a “no pain, no gain” therapist. Your massage does not have to hurt to be effective! While my massages are therapeutic I have a more gentle approach to release pain and tension. I always strive to work with your muscle tissue not against it. Deep tissue is not what I do best, if you are looking for a deep tissue/ sports massage, I’ll refer you to a better suited therapist.

Added bonus they share space with me here at Sage!

What kind of lotion or oil do you use?

I use Sacred Earth cream, it is an all natural hypoallergenic cream that will not leave you feeling oily like you have to go shower to continue your day. I do use Biotone oil when doing cupping. However, I will always provide you with a warm towel after your session so you can wipe off any excess oil left over from your massage.

I’m sick, should I keep my appointment?

If you feel sick, you MUST cancel your appointment, especially if you suspect a fever. Your massage will be safer and more enjoyable once you feel better. Please note the 48- hour cancellation policy still applies in the event of illness or emergency.

Do you do couples massage?

No. I am a sole practitioner.

I want to bring my friend/ partner/ family member. Can they wait inside during my treatment?

You are welcome to bring a friend/ family member or book back to back appointments. However you must arrive separately for your individual appointments.

Why don’t you accept tips?

I want massage therapy to be a respected healthcare service, like going to any of your other medical appointments. You don’t tip your Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, or Doctor do you? I also don’t like the added pressure for you to wonder how much you should tip etc. This is my solution to take away any confusion. The best way to show your appreciation is to recommend me to your friends or write a google review!
